I have the same pi boot into lxde or whatever the window manager is these days (dont even know), and automatically run octoprint in fullscreen kiosk mode. If you, for example, want to easily add "non-3D print" files then you could run Nextcloud through a container by @bladykast and @sashalex007 on Github.
